It has been selected as one of the 100 best restaurants for Tabelog Gyoza and is famous for jumbo gyoza. Although it is close to the station, it is crowded but the rotation is good, so you do not have to wait much in time. We arrived at 8:45 pm on Friday and waited for 6 people, but we were able to enter the store in about 5 minutes. Order gyoza set meal. It is a set of three large dumplings with sticky skin, rice, soup and zasai. Gyoza is also delicious with plenty of gravy. This is a recommended shop near Ikebukuro Station.

We went to this place and heard about their legendary Gyoza online. Not sure of the size we ordered 3 dozen - to feed 3 people. The waiter looked at us with surprise and advised us that would be way too much. we changed it to 2 dozen. we could not even finish that, not only are the Gyozas huge; they taste awesome. We also had some Ramen and that was really good also. Amazing!

Great place. I thought the middle of the gyoza would be a lil dry but it was nice and juicy throughout. They do have an English menu. Good for groups or if your flying solo, there is bar seating in the 1 st floor. There is also to go options where's you can take it home to cook to.

Kairaku is amazing. I've lived in Ikebukuro for about 2.5 months and we've gone here about once every other week. Their gyoza combo meals (sets) are the best. Not only are these huge gyoza, but they are delicious. This is my new version of comfort food. It just hits the spot every time. Also there's always Beatles music playing in the background which makes for a fun atmosphere. Great for solo dinners as well as small groups. They also have an English menu.
